DEPARTURE – JOURNEY TO POLAND
Meeting at one of the airports in the USA (Chicago, New York, Los Angeles). Departure to Warsaw.
DAY 2 – wed 15 september 2026
WARSAW – ST. ANDREW BOBOLA – OLD TOWN
Arrival in Warsaw. Welcome to the group at the airport. Drive to the Sanctuary of St. Andrew Bobola, erected between 1980-1989 on the site of the former garden of the Jesuit Fathers and a chapel, which since 1938 housed the relics of St. Andrew Bobola. Prayer at the relics of the Saint and Holy Mass. After that, we will head to the Museum of the Cursed Soldiers at 37 Rakowiecka Street, which commemorates the terror of „consolidating the communist regime in the Polish People’s Republic“ and ruthless fight against Polish patriots standing against the new post-war Soviet partition. Transfer to the hotel and time for relaxation. For those interested there will be a possibility to visit the Old Town, which constitutes one of the most quaint corners of the capital of Poland. We will head to the Castle Square to see Sigismund’s Column, the Copper-Roof Palace, and the Royal Castle. Walk to St. John’s Archcathedral, where we will visit the Mausoleum of primate Cardinal Wyszyński. Over the sarcophagus there is a plaque depicting the life of the primate – beginning from his time in seminary, through his work as a clergyman, to his fight in insurgent units and a meeting with Karol Wojtyła on the occasion of his papal inauguration. Dinner in the old town. Free time. Return to the hotel.
DAY 3 – thu 16 september 2026
WARSAW – CARDINAL WYSZYŃSKI – NIEPOKALANÓW
Breakfast. On this day we will head to the Castle Square, where will see Sigismund’s Column, the Copper-Roof Palace, and the Royal Castle. Walk to St. John’s Archcathedral with the crypts that hold the remains of notable Poles, such as Cardinal Wyszyński. Holy Mass. Then, we will visit the House of the Archbishops of Warsaw, where Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński lived and worked. It is also there that he was arrested by the Security Office (UB) operating in the Polish People’s Republic at that time. In the throne room there are portraits of archbishops of Warsaw, including those depicting Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Cardinal Józef Glemp, or St. Feliks Szczęsny Feliński. Then, we will continue to Wilanów to learn more about the place of the beatification of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński – the Temple of Divine Providence raised by the Poles as an expression of their gratitude. Free time in the gardens of Wilanów, after which we will drive to Niepokalanów. There we will visit the Sanctuary established in 1927 by Franciscan St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe. Initially, the monastic settlement covered a small area, which grew over the time with the Franciscan mission. In the pre-war period it was the largest monastery in the world. We will also visit the Museum of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 – fri 17 september 2026
CZĘSTOCHOWA – JASNA GÓRA – CRACOW
Breakfast, after which we will drive to Częstochowa. There we will visit Jasna Góra Monastery and attend a Holy Mass in the Chapel of the Miraculous Image of Our Lady. Visiting the Pauline Fathers‘ Monastery – the Basilica and the Chapel of Our Lady of Częstochowa, including the Miraculous Image of the Virgin Mary, the treasury of the Jasna Góra Monastery, which constitutes the oldest part of the museum exhibition and houses offerings made to the Virgin Mary over the centuries. Then, we will visit the 600th Anniversary Museum dedicated to cultural and artistic activity of the Paulines, the guardians of this place. Dinner and overnight in Cracow.
DAY 5 – sat 18 september 2026
CRACOW – ROYAL ROAD – WAWEL CATHEDRAL
Breakfast, after which we will go sightseeing in Cracow. The visit to this magical and romantic city (inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1978 as one of the most valuable sites in the world) will begin with a walk along the Royal Road. We will see a barbican, the Main Market Square, the Kraków Cloth Hall, the Adam Mickiewicz Monument, the Town Hall Tower, St. Mary’s Church famous for its alterpiece carved by Veit Stoss, and the Romanesque Church of St. Adalbert. After that, we will head to the Wawel Hill, where we will visit the Gothic Archcathedral Basilica of Saint Stanislaus and Saint Wenceslaus.
The real gem of the cathedral is its Renaissance Chapel of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary, also known as the Sigismund Chapel with its distinctive golden dome, which dates back to the 16th century. We will also visit the cathedral crypts that hold the tombs of Polish kings and national heroes. Transfer for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 – sun 19 september 2026
KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA – WADOWICE – JOHN PAUL II
Breakfast. Transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. There we will visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Park. Pope John Paul II repeatedly emphasized his connections to the sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, which he visited as a pilgrim since his childhood. In the shrine, which Karol Wojtyła referred to as a place where his heart „has remained forever“, we will see the miraculous image of Our Lady of Kalwaria. Walk along the Calvary Pathways. Drive to Wadowice. There we will visit the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where Karol Wojtyła received his baptism. Then, we will visit the Museum of the Family Home of the Holy Father John Paul II. Its modern multimedia exhibition presents the figure of the Pope, his teachings, and message in an exceptional way. Free time and possibility to try the famous „kremówki“ (Karol Wojtyła’s favourite cream cakes). Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 – mon 20 september 2026
DIVINE MERCY – ŁAGIEWNIKI – WIELICZKA SALT MINE
Breakfast. Drive to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki. On this day we will visit the Convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Łagiewniki. In the side altars of the presbytery there is an image of Merciful Jesus on the left renowned for its miracles, which originally covered the Secret Heart image enshrined in this altar. Then, we will visit the new Basilica of Devine Mercy consecrated by the Holy Father John Paul II in 2002. We will also head to John Paul II Center „Do not be afraid!“ and the Sanctuary of John Paul II, which houses relics of the pope. Then, we will continue to Wieliczka. Sightseeing of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Saltworks Museum by taking the pilgrim route. There we will have a chance to admire beautiful chambers carved in salt – extraordinary underground lakes, majestic carpentry structures and unique salt sculptures. Descending 135 meters underground, we will visit exceptional places, where the salt rock was shaped by the power of human hands. Halfway along our route we will see an amazing chapel dedicated to Princess Kinga of Poland and its one of a kind artworks made of salt. Transfer for dinner and overnight nearby Strachociny.
DAY 8 – tue 21 september 2026
STRACHOCINA – ST. ANDREW BOBOLA – MARKOWA
Breakfast and transfer to Strachocina. Walk in the park located on the site of Bobola mansion, also known among the locals as „Bobolówka“. In the 1990s a field chapel was built there and since then, celebrations in honour of St. Andrew Bobola have been attended by numerous pilgrims. Nearby there is the Neo-Gothic Saint Catherine of Alexandria Church, St. Andrew monument, St. Maximilian Kolbe Monastery, and a pilgrims house. In a field along the road there is a hill topped with a statue of Christ the King and at its foot there is small miraculous spring, which appeared upon placing the figure. Drive to Markowa. There we will visit the Ulma Family Museum of Poles Saving Jews in World War II. It is the first museum of this kind in Poland. The patron of the museum is the Ulma family, whose members were murdered along with eight Jews, whom they gave shelter, by German gendarmes on March 24, 1944. In front of the museum building there is a square with illuminated plaques with names of Poles murdered for saving Jews. In the middle of the square there is a slab with an inscription that reads – a monument to the memory of Jewish victims of Shoah and their anonymous Polish succourers. Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9 – wed 22 september 2026
ZAMOŚĆ – RENAISSANCE CITY – LUBLIN
Breakfast. Drive to Zamość – a unique architectual monument of the Renaissance period, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There we will see the Great Market Square with its Town Hall and tenement houses, the Zamoyski Palace, the statue of Jan Zamoyski on a horseback holding a mace, the Zamoyski Academy, a synagogue, and fortifications. On this day we will also visit the cathedral founded by Zamoyski, which is an example of the most impressive sacral buildings in Poland. The Zamość cathedral constituted a votive offering of the Herman for his numerous victories and served as a center of religious life of the Zamość Ordination. Inside there are nine chapels, four in both lower side naves and one next to the chancel. Each chapel, rich in precious objects, altars, paintings devoted to various figures, such as the Zamoyski Chapel of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Rosary Chapel, and Chapel of Relics. Transfer for dinner and overnight in Lublin.
DAY 10 – thu 23 september 2026
LUBLIN – OLD TOWN – BAROQUE CATHEDRAL
Breakfast, after which we will continue to visit Lublin. The sightseeing will start with the Castle Hill. There we will see the Royal Castle, the Castle Chapel in honour of the Holy Trinity, and (from the outside) the Castle Tower – a precious monument built in the Romanesque style. A stroll through the Old Town. There we will see the Grodzka Gate with the defensive city walls, historic tenement houses located at Grodzka Street, and a square where the parish church once stood. After that, we will head to the Old Town Square and see the Old Town Hall, which served as the Crown Tribunal. Passing through the Krakowska Gate, we will continue to visit the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist – a Baroque pearl located in the Lublin region. Its interiors are decorated with frescos painted by Jan Meier, two Baroque paintings The Last Supper and The Feast of the Herod, and figures of Saints, including Ignacy Loyola, and other paintings. Free time in the Lublin old town, after which we will have dinner in one of its restaurants. Free time. Return for overnight.
DAY 11 – fri 24 september 2026
KODEŃ – PODLASIE – EUCHARISTIC MIRACLE (SOKÓŁKA)
Breakfast. Drive to Kodeń, where we will visit St. Anne’s Church and see the miraculous painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe crowned in 1723 as one of the first in Poland. Today, Our Lady of Oden is the patroness of Podlasie. We will also visit ruins of Sapieha Palace, where on its foundations you can see a field altar, repeatedly rebuilt Placencja Palace – the former summer residence of the Sapieha family. Transfer to Białystok. Walk through the city. In Białystok we will visit Divine Mercy Sanctuary, which constitutes the crowning of blessed father Michał Sopoćko’s endevours that he did not witness during his lifetime. Today he is present here in his relics, and in the memory and intercessory prayers. Drive to Sokółka – a town located in Podlasie where on October 12, 2008 a Eucharistic miracle took place. The consecrated Host transformed into a particle of the Body of Christ was placed in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary in the Church of Saint Anthony of Padua. In the side altar of the church there is a precious relic, which is the Image of Divine Mercy. The image reminds of the confessor of Faustyna Kowalska – blessed father Michał Sopoćko. Holy Mass. Free time for individual prayer and contemplation. Transfer for dinner and overnight nearby Augustów or Ełk.
DAY 12 – sat 25 september 2026
ŚWIĘTA LIPKA – GIETRZWAŁD – MARIAN SHRINES
Breakfast. Transfer to Święta Lipka. There we will visit Święta Lipka Sanctuary (Holy Linden Basilica), also known as „Częstochowa of the north”. The cult of figure of the Blessed Mary famous for its miracles began here as early as in the 14th century. The monastery complex consists of a basilica, cloisters, and convent buildings. Over the main entrance there is a symbol of the sanctuary – a figure of Our Lady on the Lime Tree. In the main altar there is an image of Our Lady of Święta Lipka renowned for its miracles. In the basilica you can also admire historic organs with moving figures. Drive to Gietrzwałd, also known as the „Polish Lourdes“ –a pilgrimage destination famous for centuries, not only in the region of Warmia. The beginnings of the cult of the Image of Our Lady of Gietrzwałd date back to the 16th century. The sanctuary gained its fame thanks to Apparitions of the Virgin Mary that took place there from June 27 to September 16, 1877. On the maple growing nearby the church, the Virgin Mary appeared to two girls: 13-year-old Justyna Szafryńska and 12-year-old Barbara Samulowska. She is believed to have said that the Church in Poland would not be persecuted, and the number of priests would increase, if people prayed and recited the Rosary every day. On this day we will also visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Gietrzwałd, where in the main altar there is an image of Our Lady with the Child. Its most precious artifact is a Gothic pieta from 1425. We will also go for a walk along a rosary path up to a miraculous spring. Transfer for dinner and overnight in Gdańsk.

TOUR CONDITIONS
Economy class. Individual air fares are based on advance purchase and subject to availability at the time of confirmation and ticketing. Reservations may not be changed after ticketing without penalty: $300.00 USD will be charged by the airline for changes in reservations. A higher penalty may be imposed for total cancellation, or no-show after tickets are issued. The checked baggage allowance is one piece per person not to exceed 23 kgs.
Superior First-Class hotels ( 4* STANDARD), based on sharing twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. BTP Frater does not guarantee that a roommate will be available. If one is not available, single rooms are offered at extra charge 2 meals included daily: Buffet breakfast, and table dinner at hotel or in restaurant
The cost of this tour is based on a minimum of 40 persons traveling together and includes transfers of one suitcase per person and porterage at airport, borders and hotels. Transportation by late Model and fully equipped coaches; and includes courteous English-speaking guides, and entrance fees to places visited, as indicated in the itinerary on the brochure.
All tips to the waiters, bellboys and porters, hotel personnel, guides and bus drivers are not included in price.
Service charges as imposed by hotels and taxes by local government authorities are included throughout. Airport security charges, airport user fees, fuel surcharge, all airport taxes plus highway fees, check point fees parking fees.
Visa Fees, if necessary, for Canadian and US citizens are not included. Passport fees, phone calls, gratuities, laundry service, and all items of a personal nature, expenses within home country, Travel Insurance. Meals include Juices, coffee or tea or milk with breakfast. It is extra at other meals such is the case of soda, alcohol, bottle water, or espresso.
A deposit of $ 1000.00 per person is required at the time of booking. Final payment of $3550.00 per person is due no later than August 14, 2026. The cost of the tour is based on present values of the US dollar at the time the brochure is published; and rates, tariffs and airfares in effect on 23th of December 2025 and subject to changes, increases or adjustment in cost before tour operates.
Full refund is granted for any cancellation in writing received by BTP FRATER eight weeks or more prior to departure. Cancellation 8 weeks till departure will be subject to a cancellation penalty of US $1000 per person plus expenses incurred. After departure, no refund for any unused services – Air and Land.
The carrier’s cancellation policy will apply immediately after tickets are issued. Airline tickets become non-refundable, non-endorsable and non- transferable. Any change in date or name spelling, or cases of No-Show or route deviation will cost extra and nullify the airfare guarantee.
The client by engaging BTP Frater, and making deposit and/or full payment for the travel arrangements specified, acknowledges their position of tour operators in the sole capacity of agents for the tour members with the airlines, land operators, wholesalers, hotels, bus companies, contractors, and service providers etc., and agrees to hold BTP FRATER blameless in making the arrangements on his behalf, provided same shall be made through generally acceptable suppliers; and further agrees that restitution for damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the suppliers conveying the service. Such conveying, etc. is subject to the laws of the country where the conveyance is provided. The sole financial liability of the tour operators is limited to the amount of commission each receives from arranging air and land transportation and accommodation on behalf of the clients with service providers, airlines, hotels, and other tour operators.
Sequence of sightseeing is left to the discretion of Tour Hosts. Right is reserved to vary the sequence or make substitutions after group arrival to country of destination. All services clients are entitled to, will be maintained as much as these conditions allow.
BTP FRATER and the tour hosts are not working in cahoots with any souvenir stores or shops in the tour we cover. BTP FRATER does not direct guides or buses towards shops or peddler stands. Any similarity or resemblance to our trade name is merely coincidental. The owners and tour leaders are not experts in jewelry, diamonds or antiques and therefore shall not be held responsible for quality and/or cost of items purchased by the clients. Remedies for corrupt services, nonfeasance or ill feasance are remedied by contacting the Tourism authorities in the country visited.
The presenters and the tour hosts shall not become liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, change in itinerary or accommodations, inconvenience, or other irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the suppliers or their employees, land operators, airlines, or others not under the direct control of BTP FRATER. In case of defects or failures of any conveyance, equipment or instruments under the control of airlines, land operators, bus companies, etc.; or through acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out arrangements on the tour, or in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor or servant, but not limited to criminal acts by a third party, fire, civil disturbances, acts of God, governments and others, riots, wars, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, or dangers incident to the sea, land and air. All such losses will have to be exclusively borne by the client.
